Partnership between Bosch and Everynet, LoRaWAN® worldwide operator, on Smart Parking

  • Smart Parking solution presented at IoT Solutions World Congress from May 10-12, in Barcelona
  • Everynet accelerate Bosch Smart Parking proposal in countries where its LoRaWAN® networks are deployed

From May 10-12, 2022, Bosch and Everynet will showcase a joint Smart Parking solution at IoT Solutions World Congress, Booth C 370.

Smart Parking solutions rely on digital and data to offer, in real time, the availability of parking spaces. Thus, the search for available places is reduced to limit air and noise pollution. It allows also easy access to parking, in city centers, shopping centers and logistics platforms.

Parking management: Worldwide deployment with Everynet
Bosch has developed a family of sensors for parking space management. Two vehicle detection technologies (magnetic and radar) are combined with a self-learning algorithm. It provides an optimal level of performance. Vehicle presence information is transmitted securely using the LoRaWAN® protocol, a radio telecommunications protocol allowing low-speed communication of connected objects.
The LoRaWAN® network operator Everynet is present in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. This new collaboration allows Bosch to accelerate its Smart Parking projects by benefiting from the networks already installed by Everynet.

« I am particularly pleased with the collaboration with Everynet! It allows us to offer our Smart Parking solution in many parts of the world. For example, our deployment in the United States will be accelerated by the presence of the Everynet network in 370 cities and 130 logistics zones. » according to Franck Cazenave, Sales & Strategy Director, Connected Objects for Smart Territories Business Unit.

Finally, thanks to its communication networks, Everynet makes it possible to develop the Internet of Things with a very convenient data transmission price. Parking management is one of the use cases for which Everynet can contribute to its extension, all over the world.

«The most common smart mobility challenges that smart city projects cover are parking lot issues, public transportation, and traffic management. Air pollution is one of the greatest environmental threats to human health. We are honored to collaborate with Bosch to support their Smart Parking solution and to provide our contribution to fight against air pollution and traffic congestion» said Antonio Terlizzi, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Sales for Everynet. «The Smart Mobility market is predicted to grow double digits and will reach 70 billion dollars by 2027. We strongly believe that the partnership with Bosch opens the door to exciting opportunities, and we are glad to be able to enable through our LoRaWAN® national networks new and sustainable IoT solutions », he added.
